Job Title: Certified Tumor Registrar

Job Location: Bronx, NY

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties: 

• Collecting, maintaining, and reporting cancer data for surveillance and research
• Ensuring data quality and compliance with state and federal reporting standards
• Preparing reports and data analysis for physicians and administrators
• Gathering information from doctors, medical records, patients, and their families
• Updating and maintaining the cancer registry
• Contacting discharged patients and their families for follow-up information
• Preparing reports and graphic representations of the registry data

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Tumor Registry Experience (Required)
• 3 Years Medical Terminology Experience (Required)
• 1 Years of Anatomy Experience (Preferred)
• 2 Years of Physiology Experience (Preferred)
• Tumor Registry certification (CTR) (Required)
• RHIA Certificate (Preferred)
• RHIT Certificate (Preferred)

Schedule:

• All shifts make it required for all shifts there are multiple shifts
• Monday-Friday
• 5x8
• 40 Hours per week

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:
